At Allegheny Health Network (AHN), we believe all people should have access to the high-quality, personalized care we offer across western Pennsylvania.
Center for Inclusion Health
Access to healthcare for all
At the Center for Inclusion Health, our programs aim to remove barriers that sometimes prevent some people from seeking the care they need.
What is the Center for Inclusion Health?
Through our Center for Inclusion Health, we aim to provide outstanding health care to everyone by focusing on three key areas:
-
Increasing access
We’ve developed programs such as our healthy food center to address issues like mental health, food insecurity and housing challenges, which interfere with some people’s access to health care.
-
Training and education
We educate our providers about complex cultural and health needs affecting people facing barriers to accessing high-quality care, helping them receive coordinated and compassionate care.
-
Program effectiveness
We aim to improve patients’ health while decreasing costs. We regularly evaluate program efficacy, ensuring we can continue our efforts to care for those who need it most.
Love shouldn’t hurt.
If you or someone you love is a victim of physical or verbal abuse, we can help. Through our partnership with Crisis Center North, we connect victims of intimate partner violence to the counseling and resources they need.
